It appears from the said affidavit of compliance that a sum of Rs.31,84,165.18 has been paid by the alleged contemnors working for Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) pursuant to orders passed by this Court on September 22, 2022 and September 26, 2022.

Accordingly, WPCRC 412 of 2023 is disposed of.

Rule issued by this Court on July 7, 2023 stands discharged.

Mr. Ghosh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the sum paid may not be commensurate to the amount directed by this Court on September 26, 2022.

The petitioner will be at liberty to take appropriate steps, if so advised.
