The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at Kesia Primary/Junior School, a school under Amlagora Circle of the District Primary School Council, Paschim Medinipur.

The seven years old son of the petitioner is suffering from autism spectrum. The petitioner contends that his son requires constant monitoring but the school of the petitioner since is 80 K.M. away from his residence, he is unable to give required support to his son. The petitioner is praying transfer to any school nearer to his residence on the said ground.

A representation of the petitioner praying such transfer is appearing as Annexure 'P-3' to the writ petition, which is pending consideration before the Council.

The Chairman of the said Council, the respondent no.7 herein is directed to consider the said representation of the petitioner in accordance with law and to dispose it of as expeditiously as possible.

WPA 1421 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
