The ld. Trial court on the same date or within a week thereafter would complete the examination and crossexamination of P.W.7, namely, Abdul Jabbar, who happens to be the recording officer and P.W.8, the scribe. The investigating officer would, thereafter, be left to be examined and cross-examined.

Let the examination and cross-examination of the investigating officer be completed on or before 30th of June, 2024.

The ld. Trial court would thereafter fix date for examination under section 313 of the cr.p.c. of the accused persons and take all efforts so that the defence evidence

and the arguments are concluded at the earliest and the verdict of the case is pronounced on or before 30th of September, 2024.

Under no circumstances, the timeline set by this court should be stretched in spite of any resolution of the local bar. The representing advocates would participate in the case and the police officers, who are witnesses to the case, should make themselves available on the date so fixed by the ld. Trial court.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 223 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. The officer in charge of Burwan Police Station, Murshidabad Police District is present in court. His further appearance before this court is dispensed with. Report so submitted be kept with the record.
