It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner there is delay in lodging FIR. Accordingly, he prays for anticipatory bail. 2.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record including the statement of the victim. Victim was dragged to a field and forcibly raped. In view of the nature of allegation involving sexual assault, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
