The petitioner has been granted higher pay scale for having acquired a post graduate degree in Geography with effect from 10th March 1998.

The petitioner claims that she is entitled to such higher pay scale from the date of last examination i.e. 9th January 1998.

This Court sees no serious infirmity in the decision taken by the respondents.

In that view of the matter, the writ petition fails and hereby dismissed.
