Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the application upon Ms. Manisha Sharma, learned advocate who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. Her appointment may be regularized by the concerned Authorities in due course.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that although chargesheet was submitted in the month June, 2022, yet even after a year being completed, charge has not been framed or considered by the learned trial court. The learned trial court, as such, is directed to asses whether the copies under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been supplied to the accused persons. The learned court would thereafter fix a date for consideration of charges.

Having regard to the fact that the proceedings initiated in

the year 2021 and the petitioner is at the receiving end because of the alleged offences under Section 420/467/408 of the Indian Penal Code, the learned court if it is of the opinion that charges should be framed in the present case, then in that case after framing of the charges would fix at least one date in every three months for the purpose of trial of the case so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. No unnecessary adjournments should be granted to either of the parties.

With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional application being CRR 172 of 2023 is disposed of. All Pending applications, if any, are disposed of accordingly. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. [Tirthankar Ghosh, J]
