1. Petitioner contends he has not been named in the FIR. He did not fire at the victim which was accidently done by Raju Mondal. He prays for anticipatory bail.

2. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the eye witness shows petitioner and Raju came to the house of the victim. Raju had an air gun and he fired at the chest of the victim. Petitioner was present with Raju.

4. In light of the aforesaid incriminating materials and gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, application for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Subhendu Samanta, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
