The innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of the appeal under Rule 51 of the West Bengal Minor Mineral Rules, 2016 pending before Divisional Commissioner, Midnapore, being the 4th respondent herein.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal (Harish Ch. Bera vs. ADM and District Land and Land Reforms Officer) pending before him as expeditiously as possible, preferably within six weeks from the date of communication of this order, in accordance with law.

There shall however, be no order as to costs. Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
