Mr. Chitta Ranjan Chakraborty, Ms. Puspa Rani Jaiswara ... For the Respondent No.8. Petitioner has already approached the civil court as well as the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal. The Civil Court and the Tribunal are already in seisin of the issues concerned. If the petitioner is having any grievance, the concerned court or the tribunal would address the same and the police authorities cannot overstep in respect of the prayers advanced by the petitioner.

However, since the petitioner and the private respondent no.8 are at loggerheads, the police authorities would keep a strict vigil and ensure that no breach of the peace or tranquility takes place and/or any untoward incident results because of the strained relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondent no.8.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 1167 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
