Despite service of notice, the respondents are not represented. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

The petitioner is aggrieved that the private respondent no.6, to whom he had married, is a Bangladeshi citizen.

The marriage was solemnized on the basis of such suppression of her citizenship, in India. A complaint has been lodged with the Duttapukur Police Station on 29th November, 2019. Officer-in-charge, Duttapukur Police Station shall investigate into the matter and take appropriate steps in accordance with law forthwith.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
