The petitioner will file a specific complaint before the Officer-in-Charge, Patharpratima Police Station with regard to the offences allegedly committed by the respondent no. 9. The petitioner alleges that the respondent no. 9 with the support of some local political leaders had extracted soil from the agricultural land of the petitioner in order to fill up the low lands of some other persons. On the date of the incident the petitioner was in Kolkata for the treatment of his wife. When the petitioner objected subsequently, he was allegedly threatened with dire consequences.

It appears that a letter dated November 7, 2019 was sent to various authorities including the Officer-in-Charge, Patharpratima Police Station.

Record reveals that an enquiry in the matter was

being conducted by the Sundarban Development Board, Pathar Pratima.

In any event, the petitioner has alleged destruction of his property, threat and intimidation. If the petitioner approaches the police authorities, the police authorities shall act and proceed in accordance with law.

This court has not gone into the correctness of the allegations of the petitioner and the investigating agency shall take such action as may be necessary. The writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
