...Petitioner.
Ms. Jeenia Rudra ....for the petitioner.
Mr. Ranabir Roy Chowdhury, Mr. Mainak Gupta ....for the State.
The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 180 days. The investigation already concluded. Additionally, the learned advocate submits that the petitioner would abide any condition imposed by this Court in case he is released on bail as the materials, which were required for the purpose of investigation, have already been collected by the Investigating Agency.
The learned advocate for the State opposes the petitioner's prayer for bail and submits that the petitioner has distributed photographs which are detrimental indecent and obscene relating to the present complainant in WhatsApp. We have perused the materials in the case diary. Having regard to the gravity of the offence and the manner in which the petitioner has committed the alleged offences, we are of the
opinion that the petitioner is not entitled to be released on bail at this stage. Therefore, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
The application for bail, being CRM 545 of 2021, is disposed of.
