The grievance of the writ petitioners relate to non-renewal of the contract and other work issues including arrears of salary.

Upon hearing learned counsel, this Court is of the view that the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction on the Transport Secretary, State Transport Department to consider the representation dated 15th February, 2021 and pass a reasoned order thereon upon hearing all concerned parties including the petitioners and the private

respondents. The reasoned order should be passed within six weeks from date. A copy of the reasoned order shall made available to at least two petitioners within a week of such reasoned order is passed. WPA 1135 of 2022 is disposed of in terms of the above order.

It is made clear that the merits of the matter have not been gone into.

The affidavit-of-service is kept on record.
