The Registrar, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board & Anr.

Mr. Debasis Sur Mr. Hare Krishna Halder Mr. Himadri Sekhar Paul ... For petitioner Mr. Amitava Cahudhuri Mr. N. Roy ... For respondent nos.1 and 2 The grievance of the petitioner in the writ petition is that the information sought for by the petitioner under the provisions of Right to Information Act, 2005 has not been supplied.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that pursuant to a direction passed on September 6, 2018 directing the respondent authorities to file a report in the form of an affidavit, a report pursuant to such order has been served upon the learned advocate for the petitioner, though belatedly.

Learned advocate appearing for the respondent nos.1 and 2 prays for time to bring on record the said report.

However, since it has been submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that a copy of such report has been served upon him this Court is not inclined to adjourn the matter. Upon going through the said report this Court finds that the information sought for by the petitioner has been supplied in the meantime. In view thereof, nothing survives for decision in the instant writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.

A photocopy of the said report filed in Court today by the learned advocate for the petitioner be kept on record.
