It is submitted that out of a large number of recommendations for compassionate employment, the BCW has cleared only 26 posts to which appointment on compassionate ground have already been made.

Admittedly, the D.I.

of Schools, has recommended the petitioner's case for

appointment in the unreserved category, there are vacancies available.

The D.I. of Schools, is expected to have considered the vacancy position and the posts, which are reserved after giving due regard to the recommendation of the BCW. The delay on the part of the Board, therefore, is totally unexplained. In that view of the matter, the petitioner shall be issue a letter of appointment immediately since vacancies are available.

For the aforesaid purpose, the petitioner shall visit the office of the Board and meet the Secretary, tomorrow (22.06.2022) at 11 a.m. All documents necessary for scrutiny, shall be produced and the letter of appointment shall be handed over to the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
