Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for more than one year four months. There has been hardly any progress of the case and the petitioner being 71 years aged has been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case.

Learned advocate for the de-facto complainant is present and opposes the prayer for bail.

Learned advocate for the State has produced the evidence of the victim.

I have taken into account the same along with other medical documents appearing in the Case Diary. Having regard to the

totality of the circumstances, I am of the view that this is not a fit case for granting bail.

Learned trial Court would at least once in a month fix a schedule of three dates and proceed with the trial of the case so that the same can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period time.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 200 of 2026 is dismissed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
