Ms. Namita Basu ...for the petitioner Mr. Arindam Chattopadhyay Ms. Lipika Chatterjee ...for the State The petitioner prays for arrear pension for conversion of his account from CPF to GPF. He has been given pension from the date of deposit of the entire money which was paid to him against his CPF. But the pension is given only from date of refund of money. He is entitled to get pension from the date following his date of retirement. Therefore, arrear pension should be given within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order. However, the petitioner has submitted that he does not want any interest on the arrear pension amount. With the above observation and direction this writ application is disposed of.
