Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner preferred an application under Section 12 of P.W.D.V Act in the year 2021 being A. C. Case No. 340 of 2021 which is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st court, Alipore.

In view of the systematic delays, there has been hardly any progress in the trial of the case. Accordingly, the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st court, Alipore is directed to fix at least one date in every two months so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. Learned trial court shall put in efforts so that the trial of the case is concluded by 31st December, 2025.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 233 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending applications, if any, are disposed of accordingly. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. [Tirthankar Ghosh, J]
