Petitioner contends she is a bona fide purchaser of the land from the erstwhile owner. Accordingly, she prays for anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate for the State submits petitioner is a relation of the vendor who had died in 2021. The transfer was made in 2023.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner claims to have purchased the land in 2023. She is a relation of the vendor. Admittedly, the vendor had died in 2021. These facts unerringly show another person had masqueraded as the vendor and had illegally transferred the land. Petitioner being a relation of the vendor had knowledge that the said vendor had already expired.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail.
