Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the police filed charge sheet and, therefore, custodial interrogation of the petitioners is not required. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary including the injury report and the photographs of the injury suffered.

Apparently, two persons suffered injuries in an incident of assault. One of the persons suffered an injury by a sharp cutting weapon on the forehead. The injury report as well as the photographs of the injury suffered show that there was a deep cut injury on the length of the forehead. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected. CRM (A) 194 of 2024 is dismissed.
