Mondal ... for the petitioner Mr. Asish Kumar Guha Mr. Anirban Dutta ... for the State-respondent Ms. Debjani Sengupta Ms. Poulami Ghosh ... for the respondent nos. 4 and 5 The petitioner submits that a complaint was forward on or about 16.01.2024 to the Officer-in-charge of Raidighi Police Station, as private respondents are forcibly trying to cultivate on her land.

The petitioner having resisted was subjected to harassment and/or abused as also threatened with dire consequences including attempting to murder.

Report submitted by the State reflects that a case was registered being Raidighi P.S. Case No. 50 of 2024 dated 25.01.2024.

Learned advocate for the private respondents submits that the dispute is civil in nature, in spite of the same, the private respondents are being implicated in a criminal case.

Be that as it may, the primary grievance of the petitioner has been addressed as the concerned police station has already registered a case against the private respondents.

So far as the issue relating to cultivation of the plot of land is concerned, the police authorities would keep a strict vigil and ensure that no breach of peace and tranquility takes place at the locale, particularly, with regard to the subject property as referred

to in the writ petition.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 1190 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. Let a copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner.

Affidavit of service so filed be kept with the record.
