Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant submits as follows. By a judgment dated 21.01.2025 in WPA 8743 of 2023 the writ petition was disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to make an appropriate representation before the concerned SDO for seeking relief in terms of the Act of 1962. In the event the same was made within two weeks from that date, the concerned SDO was to decide the matter in accordance with law and upon hearing all the interested parties expeditiously, preferably within eight weeks from making such application. Although the representation was considered by the concerned SDO and forwarded to the Assistant Engineer, PWD, but no further steps were taken.

It appears that the order passed by this Court on 21.01.2025 has already been complied with by the concerned SDO.

If the petitioner is aggrieved with a subsequent inaction, it is open to him to raise the issue before the appropriate forum.

However, no further order need be passed in this matter.

Accordingly, the application for contempt is disposed of without any further order, even as to costs. 6.

Let urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking.
