This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in making payment of the bill nos.25 to 29 dated 01.02.2004. None appears on behalf of the respondents in spite of service made on several occasions.

In light of the same, I am of the view that this writ petition has to be heard out ex parte. Upon consideration of the writ petition, I direct the respondent no.2 to consider the representation made by the writ petitioner on January 5, 2005 upon granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and thereafter, pass a reasoned order within a period of six weeks from date.

The reasoned order should be communicated to the petitioners within a period of one week of passing the same. With these observations, WPA 166 of 2009 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
