She appeared in the recruitment examination conducted by the Board in the year 2016 and was called for scrutiny/verification and interview/aptitude test on 9th December, 2016. The petitioner submits that she participated in the interview process but thereafter her name did not appear in the list of selected candidates.
The petitioner submits that she ought to have been awarded six more marks for attempting the wrong questions.
The petitioner, in the writ petition, has not given the details of the disputed questions which she allegedly attempted. She has not disclosed the marks which she has scored.
The petitioner has also challenged the subsequent selection process initiated by the Board pursuant to the recruitment notification dated 23rd December, 2020.
The petitioner relies upon the notification published by the Board on 20th December, 2021 in respect of writ petitioners who have qualified in TET2014 examination after awarding maximum six marks for attempting wrong questions.
The petitioner submits that she should also be given an opportunity to appear in the interview pursuant to the notification dated 20th December, 2021.
Admittedly, the petitioner did not apply in response to the recruitment notification published by the Board in the year 2020. She does not fall within the same category of candidates who were included in the list for filling up of 738 vacancies.
The submission of the petitioner and the prayers made in the writ petition appear to be absolutely misconceived. No relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant case.
The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on completion of usual formalities.
