The petitioner claims that as a counter-blast to the FIR being Samserganj Police Station Case No.15 of 2023 dated 7th January, 2023 registered by the Samserganj Police Station on the petitioner's complaint against the private respondent. The private respondent has filed a complaint against her that has been registered as Samserganj Police Station Case No.20 of 2023 dated 12th January, 2023.

The petitioner submits that the FIR being Samserganj Police Station Case No.20 of 2023 dated 12th January, 2023 should be quashed.

A mere allegation that the FIR of the private respondent is a counter-blast to the FIR of the petitioner, cannot be a basis for quashing the same. In the above circumstances, this Court directs that the investigation into the two FIRs referred to hereinabove be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one month from date. The petitioner may take steps if she may be so advised against the final findings of the police.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
