Petitioners renews the prayer for bail Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the incident arose out of a civil dispute. The petitioners are in custody in excess of 290 days. The police submitted charge sheet. He submits that the petitioners also suffered injuries in the incident.
Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that there is hardly any change in circumstances subsequent to the earlier order of rejection. Moreover, the petitioners are named in the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal
procedure.
Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein as transpiring from the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal procedure and the materials in the case diary and considering the fact that there is hardly any change in circumstances subsequent to the earlier order of rejection, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected. C.R.M. (DB) 220 of 2022 is dismissed.
