Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the marriage of the deceased with the brother of the present petitioner was solemnized 14 years prior to the date of the incident and the petitioner being the sister-in-law surrendered on 28.12.2020. It is further submitted by the petitioner that as the investigation has been completed and other accused persons including the husband has been released on bail vide CRM No.8414 of 2020, CRM No.3293 of 2020 and CRM No.5247 of 2020.

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State opposes the petitioner's prayer and submits that the petitioner's name is there in one of the statement of the witnesses. We have perused the materials in the case diary and as the co-accused have already been granted bail by co-ordinate Bench of

this Court. In the said conspectus, we are of the opinion that further detention of the petitioner is not warranted. Accordingly, we direct that the petitioner, namely, Sulekha Ghosh alias Sola shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of `10,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranaghat, Nadia subject to a further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the trial court on the dates specified for hearing.

The petitioner shall not intimidate the witnesses and/or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever. It is also made clear that in the event the petitioner fails to comply with the conditions, as stated hereinabove, without any justifiable reasons, it would be open to the learned Trial Court to cancel the petitioner's bail without further reference to this Court. With the aforesaid observations, the application for bail, being CRM 572 of 2021, is disposed of.
