1. The affidavit-of-service as filed today on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

2. At the time of hearing, though it has been contended on behalf of the writ petitioner that the alleged contemnors have not complied with the judgment and order dated 07.10.2024 as passed in WPA 17266 of 2024 in letter and spirit, however, it has been submitted on behalf of the alleged contemnors that from the status report as filed before this Court on the earlier occasion it would reveal that after passing of the reasoned order as directed by this Court such order dated 29.03.2025 has already been communicated to the concerned parties. On perusal of the paragraph no. 6 of the judgment and order dated 07.10.2024 as passed in the aforementioned writ petition, it reveals that while disposing the said

writ petition this Court directed the Board of Councillors of the Dum Dum Municipality to pass a reasoned order and to communicate the same both to the writ petitioner and the private respondents. It thus appears to this Court that the order as passed by this Court on 07.10.2024 has been complied with substantially by the alleged contemnors.

3. With the aforementioned finding, the instant contempt application being CPAN 92 of 2025 is disposed of.
