Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits there is delay in trial. On such score they renews their bail prayer. 2.

Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. 105 kgs. of Ganja was recovered from the vehicle. Petitioners were present in the vehicle. Their bail prayer was rejected earlier on merits in March, 2023. Trial court was directed to conclude trial within one year from the next date fixed for recording evidence but the time frame has not expired as yet. Hence, we are of the opinion no case of bail on the ground of delay in trial is made out. Accordingly, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners at this stage.
