Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the victim committed suicide on her paternal house. Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. He submits that the petitioner was instrumental in torturing the victim and the petitioner driven out the victim from the matrimonial home.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM(A) 357 of 2022 is dismissed.
