Petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated. No overt act has been attributed upon him. Upon completion of investigation charge-sheet is also filed, as such further detention of the petitioner, who is in custody for about 1 year 11 months, is not required.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and draws our attention to the statement of the victim lady as recorded under Section 164 of the Code.

She further submits that the petitioner's prayer for bail was rejected thrice earlier.

Having heard the learned advocates and considering the materials in the case diary, the gravity of the offence, its ramifications and the extent of complicity of the petitioner in the alleged offence, we are not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The prayer for bail is, thus, refused at this stage. With the above observations, CRM 576 of 2021 is dismissed.
