1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioner's prayer seeking compassionate appointment is pending consideration at the end of the Additional District Magistrate & District Land & Land Reforms Officer, Howrah.

3. The petitioner claims to be the dependant married daughter and one of the dependant family members of late Ashim Narayan Ghoshal who was serving as Revenue Inspector and who died-inharness on 11th March, 2024.

4. The petitioner was requested to submit documents seeking employment way back in July, 2025, which the petitioner submitted immediately thereafter. There is no response from the end of the authority.

5. As it appears that the Additional District Magistrate & District Land & Land Reforms Officer, Howrah would be the competent

authority to take a call in the matter, accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the aforesaid respondent to take a decision on the petitioner's prayer strictly in accordance with the relevant rules, at the earliest, but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

6. In any document is wanting from the petitioner, then the same shall be intimated to the petitioner immediately.

7. The fate of the petitioner's application shall be made known within the time limit as specified hereinabove.

8. Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the application seeking compassionate appointment along with all supporting documents to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

9. The writ petition stands disposed of.

10. Parties to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
