Affidavit-of-Compliance filed on behalf of the alleged contemnor be kept with the records. It appears from the Report filed by the alleged contemnors that the Appropriate Authority i.e., the Special Land Acquisition Officer, South 24 Parganas, has been directed to make the necessary payment as compensation under the Act.

It is fairly submitted by both the parties that nothing remains to be adjudicated upon in this application for contempt.

Accordingly, CPAN 74 of 2022 stands disposed of as infructuous. In view of the above, liberty is granted to the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceedings, if so advised, in accordance with law.
