Mr. Karmakar, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated. Upon completion of investigation, charge-sheet has been filed, as such further detention of the petitioners, who are in custody for about 191 days, is not required. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and has drawn our attention to other documents in the case diary.

Having heard the learned advocates and considering the materials in the case diary, particularly the medical examination report, statement of the victim lady as recorded under Section

164 of the Code, we are not inclined to allow the petitioners' prayer and as such their prayer for bail is refused at this stage. With the above observations, CRM 582 of 2021 is dismissed.
