Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 332 days and has been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case. Similarly placed other accused person according to the petitioner has already been granted bail and petitioner submits that on any stringent conditions he may be released on bail.

Learned advocate for the State submits that so far as the present petitioner is concerned his locus is distinguishable from the person who has been granted bail and the name of present petitioner is appearing in the statement of the victim under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. and the present petitioner was also identified by the victim child in the T.I. Parade.

Having considered the same, I am of the view that at this stage the prayer for bail of the petitioner should be rejected.

Petitioner be allowed to renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of vulnerable witnesses are over.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (M) 204 of 2026 is dismissed.

All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
