The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the private respondents are trying to grab the property of the petitioner where he has been staying and carrying on his business for the last 20 years. The petitioner further submits that he has informed the police station on 31.12.2024, but no steps have been taken by the police authorities against the private respondents who are trying to raise permanent construction on his property.

State has submitted a report which reflects that pursuant to the information received, the police authorities have taken steps and drawn up proceedings under Section 126 of BNSS on 02.01.2025.

So far as the dispute regarding the property is concerned, the petitioner is directed to approach

and avail the remedies before the jurisdictional civil court. The police authorities would keep a strict vigil so that no breach of the peace or tranquility takes place and/or any untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 1688 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
