The petitioners are aggrieved in respect of certain documents being taken away under the garb of seizure which belongs to the husband and son of the petitioner no.1. However, in spite of repeated request, there has been no response. Information has been sent to the superior officers of police.

State has submitted a report.

The Superintendent of Police, Ranaghat Police District, Kalyani, Nadia will communicate to the petitioners in respect of the representation dated 26.10.2024 received by his office so far as it relates to the documents complained of.

After perusal of the report submitted by the State, the same is returned to the learned advocate for the State.

Needless to state that since the Staterespondents have not used any affidavit, the allegations and/or accusations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 1546 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
