Mr. Subhamay Bhattacharya Ms. Sonali Bhar .....Advocates The petitioners are in custody for more than 600 days and pray for bail. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have no nexus with the murder of the husband of the first petitioner.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. It appears that out of 24 witnesses, 18 witnesses have been examined. Some of the witnesses have talked about involvement of the petitioners in the alleged offence. The

victim appears to have been murdered by his wife and two daughters along with others.

Considering the material on record connecting the petitioners to the alleged offence as well as gravity of the offence, the prayer for bail is rejected.

Learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

The application for bail is accordingly disposed of. Case diary be returned.
