In Re : CAN 2 of 2025 Having heard the learned advocates representing the parties and upon perusal of the averments made in the application explaining the delay, I am satisfied that sufficient cause existed which prevented the petitioner from preferring the application being WPA 1204 of 2022 within the period of limitation provided therefor. Accordingly, application for condonation is allowed. Delay is condoned.

In Re : CAN 1 of 2025 This is an application for substitution. As noted earlier, during pendency of the proceedings the

petitioner passed away leaving behind his legal heirs, particulars of whom are detailed in paragraph 3 of the application.

Having heard the learned advocates representing the respective parties and upon perusal of the averments made in the application, I am satisfied that the right to sue survives to the present applicants who are sui juris and hence, the application for substitution is allowed.

Let the legal heirs of the petitioner as detailed in paragraph 3 of the application be substituted in place and stead of the petitioner. Office is directed to make necessary amendment in the cause title of the present writ petition.

In Re :WPA 1204 of 2022 List this matter for further consideration two weeks hence.
