Heard learned Advocates appearing for the parties. In the writ petition, petitioner is being aggrieved by inaction on the part of the respondent authorities concerned in considering and disposing of the series of representations made from time to time by the petitioner and lastly such representation was made on 14th December, 2020 being Annexure P-8 as appears at page 24 of the writ petition claiming for entitlement under MEIS for the year 2015-2016 and 2016-2017. Considering the submission of the parties this writ petition, being WPA 1209 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the respondent/Customs Authorities concerned to consider and dispose of the aforesaid representation dated 14th December, in accordance with law by passing a reasoned and speaking order after giving an opportunity of hearing

to the petitioner or its authorised representative within eight weeks from the date of communication of the order.

Petitioner will be entitled to take all the points before the authorities concerned, which it has taken in this writ petition.

It is recorded that this court has not gone into the merits of the aforesaid representation and the respondents concerned while considering the said representation shall act strictly in accordance with law.
