Mr. Tarasankar Samanta .....for the petitioner Mr. Mukti Chandra Ghosh ....for the State Learned counsel appearing for the State is agreeable to hand over the certified copy of the Deed No. 1927, as described in paragraph 2 of the writ petition, subject to the petitioner making payment of the requisite amount.

WPA 1339 of 2023 is accordingly disposed of in line with several orders passed by this Court as well as co-ordinate Benches and Division Bench of this Court whereby the petitioner in similar circumstances were directed to put in the cash equivalent of the sum which was payable in respect of the Deed to the Registering Authorities. After the amount is received by the Registering Authority, the deposit shall be kept in an interest bearing fixed deposit account with a nationalized Bank. The authorities will provide the certified copy of the Deed to the petitioner within four weeks from the date on which the petitioner deposits the amount to the authority.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. (Moushumi Bhattacharya, J.)
