1. Commercial quantity of phensedyl syrup containing codeine phosphate was seized from a motorbike of which the petitioner is involved. The petitioner says that he had no knowledge that commercial quantity of contraband items was being carried out in his bike.

2. We found it difficult to believe that the petitioner was completely unaware that his bike was being used for illegal purposes.

3. Keeping in mind the restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, 1985, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage.

1. The prayer for bail is, thus, rejected.

2. CRM (NDPS) 112 of 2025 is disposed of.

3. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

4. Criminal Section is directed to supply certified copies of this order to the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
