It appears from the report that has been filed on behalf of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education that the petitioner could not be selected for appointment as his score is 16.798 in the OBC-B Category which is less than the marks obtained by the last empanelled candidate in the said category i.e. 32.843. Moreover, the petitioner is an untrained candidate.

The petitioner intends to get information with regard to the marks obtained by the last untrained category candidate in the general and the OBC-B category.

It will be open for the petitioner to make appropriate application under the Right to Information Act, 2005 seeking necessary information from the Board. The writ petition stands disposed of.
