The affidavit of service filed in Court today be kept with the record. None appears for the respondents. Heard learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. Petitioner has filed this writ petition being aggrieved by inaction on the part of the respondents Income Tax Authorities concerned in disposing his objection dated 28th December, 2021 filed against the notice dated 31st March, 2021, under Section 148 of the Income Tax Act relating to assessment year 2014-2015 and petitioner has made a very innocuous prayer for passing a direction upon the respondent authorities concerned for disposal of the same. Considering the submission of the petitioner, this writ petition being WPA 1254 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the ITO Ward No.33(2), Kolkata/respondent no.3 to consider and dispose of the aforesaid objection dated 28th December, 2021 against the notice under Section 148

of the Income Tax Act in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order and after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or its authorised representative within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order and the respondent no.3 will not proceed any further against the petitioner before disposal of the objection dated 28th December, 2021. With this observation and direction, this writ petition being WPA 1254 of 2022 stands disposed of. (Md. Nizamuddin, J.)
