The learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the appellant submits that this is a very old matter. He filed the appeal against an order of acquittal which was passed in the year 1987.

The appellant is now an aged person and is not interested to proceed with the appeal.

Learned Advocate for the State-respondent submits the compliance report whereby the Administrative Notice has been served upon the appellant.

After hearing the learned Advocates for the parties and on perusal of the report of the Assistant Registrar-VII which also shows that the paper book in connection with the appeal has already been served upon both the parties.

Therefore, considering the aspect of the matter and on the basis of the submission of the learned Advocate for the appellant as advanced, the appeal stands dismissed as not pressed.
