This is an application filed jointly by both the parties indicating that they have amicably settled the disputes relating to the matrimonial proceedings. A decree for dissolution of marriage was granted by the Trial Court which is assailed by the wife in the instant appeal.

Both the husband and wife being the parties to the instant appeal are personally present in Court today and they uniformly took a stand that they have consciously and voluntarily entered into the said compromise.

Upon arriving at a conscious decision, the parties have amicably settled the disputes, the terms whereof are reflected in paragraph 7 of the instant application. It further appears that the appellant has received all her ornaments and utensils as well as gross sum as permanent alimony.

In view of the above and upon taking into consideration the terms embodied in paragraph 7 of the instant application, we do not find any

impediment in recording the compromise and disposing of the instant appeal accordingly.

The appeal being FA 308 of 2014 and the connected applications being CAN 2 of 2023 and CAN 3 of 2023 are accordingly disposed of on the basis of the compromise, more particularly, the terms incorporated in paragraph 7 of the instant appeal.

Department is directed to prepare a decree on the basis of the aforesaid terms immediately.
