On the prayer of learned counsel for the petitioner, leave is granted to the learned advocate-on-record for the petitioner to effect necessary amendment to the cause title of the contempt application for replacing the name of the erstwhile holder of the office of alleged contemnor no.1 by the current incumbent in the said post. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that despite specific direction of the court, the alleged contemnors refused to give police protection to the petitioner when specifically sought for.

Hence, since a prima facie case has been made out, the petitioner shall serve copies of the contempt application on the alleged contemnors indicating that the matter shall next be enlisted for hearing on September 16, 2022.

Affidavits-in-opposition shall be filed by the alleged contemnors by September 2, 2022. Reply, if any, shall be filed on the next returnable date.
