Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.

Apparently, the assault took place by the petitioner when a head light of a vehicle occupied by the victim fell upon the petitioner when he was drinking. Thereupon, the petitioner assaulted the victim.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 298 of 2023 is dismissed.
