From the submissions made on behalf of the parties today it appears that the pension payment order was issued on 5th September, 2024 and to that extent an order was passed by this Court on 11th September, 2024.

The learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that till date pensionary benefits have not been released in favour of the petitioner. It is submitted by the learned advocate representing the State respondents that petitioner is required to appear before the Treasury Officer for compliance of formalities and receiving cheque. This Court directs the petitioner to appear before the concerned Treasury Officer by seven days from date and receive the cheque on compliance of necessary formalities.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.

However, there shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
