1. Learned counsel representing the petitioner submits, upon instructions that, a settlement has been arrived at by and between the petitioner and the private respondent. The petitioner intends to revert back to the authority with the endorsement of the legal heir of the deceased licensee.

2. In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of granting leave to the petitioner to take steps in terms of the settlement arrived at in between the heirs of the deceased.

3. In the event the petitioner or the legal heir of the deceased licensee approaches the authority with a validly executed deed of settlement duly signed and sealed by the parties, then the said authority shall take steps in

response to the same, in accordance with law, at the earliest.

4. Urgent certified photostat copy of this order, if applied for, shall be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible on compliance of all necessary formalities. (Amrita Sinha, J.)
